The company was founded by Artur Mönch in 1927, and at first specialised in the production and making-up of elastic tapes for corsetry, suspenders and braces. Although the fashion industry is still one of our most important buyers, today’s range focuses more and more on technical and functional applications.  

Responsible for the company are its managing directors Michael  and Phil-Marten Smetana. They are the third and fourth generation to have directed Artur Mönch GmbH & Co. KG, which they have developed into a modern medium-sized company with around 60 employees.
